WE wanted a quiet day and made te decision to stay until Sunday. We heve relly fallen for Lake Garda, and so has Sophie. As soon as we leave the tent she pulls toward the path down to the lake.
Anyway we collected Sophie from the kennels as promised at 10am. She was happy to see us and although the kennelmaid said she had been good, her front was wet from saliva and she was breathing heavily, so we guessed she was stressed. We went round the lake to Lazise as we had promised ourselves. It is a very pld walled town still with a castle that is lived in by the family. There are two churches, one very old with some wall paintings that have been uncovered, the other more modern as the previous one burned down. Lazise is very popular with tourists and is on the lake side. It also boasts a huge number of restaurants. I think every street has at least one and the streets near the lake are one after the other.
Rain is promised for tomorrow, and it could do as it is very warm and clammy. Caught up a bit on the Blog and downloaded AVG, Picasa and skype. Phoned Carol to see if it was working.
