We decided to visit Montpellier, I had heard it was nice. Montpellier is lovely. An old part that is really interesting and has been kept clean and tidy. One of the lasting memories are the fountains on nearly every cross roads and corner. The first picture above is a building that has been painted with false windows, door and people. "Trompe L'oeil" A lot of buildings here had been done this way. Above right is the Hall of Tribunes.
The Roman Aquaduct. The Arch de Triomphe
Another Trompe L'Oeil on the left. And a splendid fountain in the central square.
On the way home we stopped at Péneses a lovely little village quite close to the camp. I managed to catch up with a few things at the internet cafe and print off some camp sites for the next two stops. Sophie is still scratching and pull out hair so we have decided to stay another night and get her to the Vet tomorrow.
