Aix en Province Saturday

The plan was to go to Orange and Avignon, but the traffic was heavy so we stopped at Avignon. Had a trip on the river and a walk round the











walled town. The photos when I can down load
them will tell the story.

Used the TomTom to get back to the site. It is good, but does take the most direct route, which meand when crossing Aix it doesn't choose the ring road, but goes straight through the middle. In Fr4ench towns and cities this usually means the very narrow streets of the old town. We wanted a shop for a lemon in one street on our way back I could have put my arm out and taken one off a shop display, the street ws so narrow! Life with a SatNav is not boring!
